Gift Registry Platform | Responsive Website | 6 months
Project Overview
Thankful is a global gift registry platform launched in 2013. This product is geared towards couples, mom & dad, fundraisers, and anyone who needs to organize gifts. Their mission is to continue being a small part of many people’s lives.
My Contributions
In anticipation of the decade, I worked with the product owner to create a new platform design that would continue to serve both existing and new customers. The product owner provided the ideas and content, and I was responsible for the user experience and user interface, including the landing page, the entire product, and the admin panel.
Challenge
This website is aimed at making the gift giving process and the money flow easier and more convenient for both the giver and the receiver through online personalized gift lists. As a designer, my task was to build on the original foundation with new technology and create a modern experience that could be easily accessed by both old users and newcomers.
Approach
To gain a deeper understanding of their mission and audience, we conducted research on the existing products to understand the stakeholders and users, which laid the foundation for the framework and design of the website.

First, I mapped out the framework based on the functional architecture of the product and along with style reference images and wireframes provided by the product owner, I developed a design system. This provided a solid foundation for the design direction, which led to the development of a high fidelity design in the final stage.
The Final Stage
After completing the design phase in Figma, we continued to work with the development team. Today, our products are engaging for users, with modern interactions and functionality seamlessly woven throughout the experience.
